Watermouth isn’t just our business – it’s our home, and we’re passionate about sharing it with couples on one of the most important days of their lives. Our family has owned Watermouth Cove for over 15 years, and in 2020 we embraced our true passion: hosting weddings. From the very beginning, our goal has been to combine professionalism with a personal, family touch that makes every couple feel special and supported throughout the planning process.

Owner & Coordinator

Zoe

Hi, my name is Zoe and my main roles at Watermouth are organising and holding the Viewings and your final Event Plan, as well as being a key point of contact for any questions couples that have booked with us may have. Whether that’s a quick chat regarding a certain drink you would like at your reception, or a query regarding the wedding day timeline – I’m always available to help. I am responsible for the everyday running and organising of our weddings here at Watermouth, giving my personal attention to the happy couple.

Georgia

Hi, my name is Georgia, my main roles at Watermouth are holding Viewings, and running all our social media / website platforms. I’m also one of your main contacts for any questions regarding your future wedding with us. Anything from helping you find a certain type of local band or suggesting an amazing florist. Like Zoe, I am also responsible for the everyday running and organising of our weddings here at Watermouth.

Coordinator

Sam

Hi, I’m Sam! My main roles at Watermouth are holding Viewings & showing potential couples around the venue, as well as being a point of contact when you arrive and on your wedding day. Before becoming a Wedding Coordinator, I’ve been in the industry for 8 years designing and creating custom wedding jackets. I have always loved the industry, so being able to be a part of the actual day is something very special to me.

Hospitality Manager

Linda

Hi, my name is Linda. I have been in Hospitality for 30 years, it’s an industry I have always loved and can’t imagine not being in. A day at Watermouth for me is placing all bar orders, being the point of call for staff, and overseeing final touches/service. I supervise the Evening, when the party starts and am on-hand for any potential problems that may arise. The thing I love the most about my job is watching the couple finally have their special day, and seeing their family and friends experience it with them.

Helen

Hi, my name is Helen and a normal day at Watermouth for me consists of ensuring that the Front of House runs smoothly, The Stone House is always set up and ready for our Special Couples, whilst also checking that everything they require is available. I work seamlessly with Head Chef Aimee when running the pass and getting food out to your guests. With over 15 years of experience in the Wedding Industry, I really enjoy the satisfaction my job gives me.

Front of House & Hospitality Apprentice

Tony

Hi, my name is Tony. I am a third-year apprentice here at Watermouth Cove, learning everything involving Front of House and Hospitality. A typical day for me here includes setting up and decorating the reception room with your chosen package, as well as shadowing Helen during service and being a helping hand to ensure your day runs smoothly.

LEAH

Hi, my name is Leah and I am the youngest member of the family here at Watermouth. You’ll usually find me behind the Bar, making your favourite drink or ensuring all the stock is in place and that any special orders have been secured. I love seeing how happy everyone is on the big day and will always have an endless supply of tissues and safety pins just in case.

Barman & maintenance

Jack

Hi, I’m Jack. You will usually find me behind the bar, on the golf buggy taking photographers, couples and their family and friends to their destinations or fixing something. I’m normally being bossed around by any of the girls or helping set up/take down the Reception Area. My favourite thing about my job is after being a helping hand in all the prep work, watching the day finally come together perfectly.

Shannon

Hi, I’m Shannon! I am a barmaid here at Watermouth and recently joined at the start 2024 season – I am new to the wedding industry and absolutely love the atmosphere and seeing how happy the couple are on the best day of their lives. You will find me behind the bar, grinning with a pint in hand (for you, of course!)

Hi, my name is Viv, I’m the oldest member of the family here at Watermouth. A typical day for me consists of dealing with all the behind scenes activity and helping Zoe and Georgia with the viewings. I love gardening so I play a large role in the grounds and gardens with our very talented Gardener, Neil.

Head housekeeper

Amy

Hi, I’m Amy. I am the Head Housekeeper here at the Cove. My daily roles consist of, running the cleaning team, overseeing and getting stuck in during accommodation turn round, and sometimes finding myself pulling a pint during an extra busy wedding day. I love my job and the team we have, it’s a family here and everyone helps out where and if needed.

Jim

Hi, my name is Jim and my roles here at Watermouth range all the way from making sure everything is kept on top of maintenance and grounds wise, to helping set up your reception area (always following the orders of my wife Zoe and daughter Georgia). You’ll always find my smiley face on the Wedding Buggy ready to escort the Special Couple, or family/friends to their destination.
